We know a great deal of our transfer applicants are anxiously waiting for decisions and several have actually the same questions! We hear you and hope this FAQ shall assist as you wait to hear from us.
When will we find my decision out?
All transfer pupils who placed on USC for fall 2015 admission will be notified of either a choice, or a request for more details by June 1. We have been in the means of making choices, so some learning students have heard back from us even though many have actually not. Just because you have not heard from our office yet does not always mean it’s good or bad news you will find still a couple weeks until June 1 and we are making our way through all the applications.
What does a Spring Grade Request mean?
For some students, we aren’t able to make a choice because of the information we have. We might request to see your final spring grades to help us in building a choice. If you received a springtime grade request, please deliver us your grades as soon while they are available. Different schools complete at differing times, so the faster it is possible to send us your grades, the faster we can get an admission decision back to you.
We have been conscious that many semester system schools finish in May and quarter that is many in June. Our admission counselors are aware of this timeline, and we’ll be accommodating to each school that is individual but again, don’t delay in sending us your grades if we asked for them.
If I’m admitted, whenever can I find out which of my classes transfer to USC?
Students whom are admitted and enroll at USC will receive a Transfer Credit Report (TCR) that details classes that will move and which requirements are being met. These reports are available three to six weeks after students submits their commitment deposit, and now we receive complete and official transcripts of all college work, and exam that is official. Pupils will receive a contact notification when the TCR can be obtained to view at my.usc.edu.
How about Financial Aid?
If you came across all deadlines and eligibility requirements and quickly submitted any additional papers the Financial Aid workplace requested, you can expect to be notified of your financial aid within 7 business days once you’ve been admitted to USC. It is possible to monitor your award status online at My Financial Aid & Documents (https://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/my_fa/index.html).
While all students sent applications for the Fall 2015 semester, some students are admitted to your Spring 2016 semester. This allows us to accommodate more students. We encourage students to keep taking courses either at their present institution or another school. You can contact your admission counselor for more information if you are admitted to the Spring semester and have questions about what to do in the fall.

Hello through the other side….
Interviews…another part of the college application process. We’re currently finishing up our on-campus interviews through the end of November (Thanksgiving excluded.) You could also see us interviews that are conducting cities towards you throughout the United States. At this time in the process, it’s possible you’ve already gone via a college that is few, and I’m sure at the end you left with either emotions of success, frustration, excitement or many different other adjectives that could describe the doubt that is an interview. Hopefully I’m able to give you a insight that is little what we are thinking during those 30 minutes. Our interviews generally past around 25 moments and now we as admission counselors, invest afternoons, from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm, interviewing around five students. So, what is actually going through our minds once we sit down over the table from you? Well, that shmoop.pro largely varies according to you…
